Largest House Democratic Caucus Selects Powell to Lead the Fight for NE-02
Omaha, NE – Today, the New Democrat Action Fund, which represents the largest coalition of Democrats in the U.S. House with over 100 members, endorsed Denise Powell’s campaign for Congress in NE-02. Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04) of the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund released this statement:
“New Dems are fired up to endorse Denise because she knows her community, knows how to earn trust, and is exactly the kind of candidate who can win one of the toughest races in the country to help us take back the House,” said New Dem Action Fund Chair Greg Stanton (AZ-04). “I’m proud to stand with a results-driven leader like Denise as we build a majority ready to get things done for working families on day one.”
In response to NewDems’ endorsement, Powell said:

NewDems know that we need leaders that will fight to bring down costs, protect and expand affordable healthcare, stop ICE from terrorizing communities, and hold the Trump Administration accountable. I’m proud to have their support and am ready to flip NE-02, fight for real solutions for everyday problems, take back the House majority, and get to work making Nebraskans’ lives better.”
