Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Defend the Vote Back Powell in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District Race
Omaha, NE – Three national organizations – Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Defend the Vote, and Her Bold Move – have announced their endorsements of Denise Powell ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. These endorsements join a growing coalition of support behind Denise Powell to flip Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District – one of the best pick-up opportunities for Democrats in the country.
“Planned Parenthood has provided essential, life-saving services for communities nationwide. I have been on the frontlines of the fight to protect reproductive care for women in Nebraska and am proud to have their support,” said Denise Powell. “I know how critical these life-saving services are because they saved my own life when I experienced an ectopic pregnancy. It is vital that we flip this seat so we can take back the House and protect access to safe abortion care.”
